Penn State Brandywine has an opening for a part-time Project Coordinator position. Expectations and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator may include: Coordinate focus group and research events including calendar invites, space reservations, technology, and event logistics; Ensure all materials are prepared and organized for meetings/events/trainings/outreach; Coordinate meetings with key stakeholders, including developing agendas and communications; Cultivate close relationships with community partner organizations; Continually collaborate with and support project teams; Monitor and track policy developments and current issues from a variety of sources; Monitor and track grant and publication opportunities from a variety of sources; and Create and maintain systems to track outreach, communications, budget, progress, data, awards, and other pertinent information. The Project Coordinator will also assist the faculty in the recruitment of participants, data collection, data entry, transcription, analysis, and manuscript preparation. Expertise in community-based social work and a history of working with youth with diverse backgrounds, in community settings, is required. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage data. The candidate must be willing to occasionally travel between the Brandywine Campus and community settings in Philadelphia, PA. A Master’s degree in social work, human development, psychology, or education is preferred. This part-time, temporary position will be paid at $18.00-$20.00/hour, working an estimated 5-10 hours per week.
