The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center is seeking a self-directed professional to join the team. This position will serve as the Office Manager/Administrative Support Assistant for the center. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Direct, review, screen, and process all mail and telephone communications, greet student visitors, schedule appointments, workshops, class sessions, groups and boards meetings. Take minutes for critical and group meetings, maintain administrative and functional calendars for the Center and update reports as needed. Process financial forms, make travel arrangements and reimbursements as necessary. Order and maintain Office supplies and equipment. Keep track of budget expenditures and maintain proper documentation. Support meetings, presentations, workshops and events by registering and communicating with attendees and setting up video and audio conferencing for remote locations and commonwealth campuses. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, strong multi-tasking and time management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Employee Reimbursement System (ERS) travel expense, IBIS financial forms, Purchasing Card (PCard) support are preferred. Must have high level of accuracy to details, attention to critical information, date, time, location, etc. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, judgment and problem-solving capability, with ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with diverse population. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding. Review of applications will begin on September 30, 2019.
