The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems (SC&IS) of the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for one or more open rank tenure-track positions in Information Systems for a fall 2020 start date. Salary is competitive. Candidates must have a Doctorate degree (granted or near completion by the start date) in information systems or a directly related field and a strong commitment to research and teaching excellence. Faculty members are expected to maintain an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in service activities. The SC&IS Department comprises a vibrant, research-active faculty with specific research and teaching interests that span the gamut of business analytics, business process management, blockchain, supply chain information technologies, digital markets, and gamification. We seek outstanding candidates who would complement these interests with high-quality research and teaching in student-centered and collaborative learning environments. The Smeal College of Business offers a collegial working environment and excellent campus facilities.
