Description

The Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics seeks to hire undergraduate students, recent graduates, or graduate students to work part-time as Teaching Assistants throughout the 2019/2020 academic year. These positions will provide support in teaching astronomy courses. Candidates will perform tasks such as assisting with active learning exercises in the classroom, facilitating peer instruction, setting up telescopes, lab equipment, and classroom demos, and assisting with night time observing labs and planetarium sessions as required by the instructional needs of specific courses. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises.

These salary bands have been established to provide salary guidelines for staff positions.
