Description

The Communications Program of the School of Humanities is looking for students to assist in the Communications Equipment Center and Studios. Applicants must be detail oriented, reliable and have good customer service skills. The successful candidate will have experience in the use and troubleshooting of media production equipment such as DSLRs, video cameras and lighting, and have some experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs. Job duties include: assist with the equipment-borrowing and studio-use process for students; keep careful track of inventory and follow inventory and storage protocol; charge batteries; know (or learn) basic equipment/software use in order to assist students; perform initial troubleshooting of equipment problems; assist students in setting up studio lighting and backdrops. Hours can be flexible around students` schedules, but may include night or weekend hours as needed by the program.
