Description

We seek to fill a postdoctoral position in Biomedical Data Sciences with particular emphasis on one or more of these application areas: Predictive and causal modeling of health outcomes from longitudinal health data (including electronic health records, contextual e.g., environmental, lifestyle, socio-economic data, and genomic data). Analyses and modeling of high throughput multi-omics data. The successful candidate is expected to have a PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Physics, Economics) and have expertise in data science (e.g., machine learning), and is expected to work in a collaborative environment as part of the Informatics core of the Clinical and Translational Research Institute under the supervision of Dr. Vasant Honavar.
