Description

As a member of Penn State’s Office of Annual Giving, you can play an integral role in one of the most respected and successful fundraising operations in the country and contribute to the land-grant mission and future strength of Penn State. We are seeking an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to help coordinate a recent graduate giving strategy at Penn State. In addition, this individual will serve as a liaison to some of the Penn State colleges and campuses for work on special solicitations. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Familiarity with MS Office desired. Requires excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, customer service, and organizational skills. The successful candidate must have a passion for higher education; an understanding of complex institutions; demonstrated knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education; a dedication to and understanding of the skills required to build relationships with diverse communities; and a commitment to professional development, learning, and being mentored.
