Penn State’s Auxiliary and Business Services IT office is seeking a highly motivated and flexible team player to be our project management apprentice. This part-time position will assist in developing documentation, procedures, solutions, and tools that enable specialized IT project teams to successfully deliver projects. The chosen candidate can expect to take on greater project management responsibilities as their foundational knowledge grows. Auxiliary and Business Services IT is a fast-paced and project-oriented environment with involvement in a wide variety of campus initiatives, from residence hall construction to the implementation of a new financial system. Responsibilities Include: Developing an understanding of key milestones, resources, and deliverables to track project timelines. Collaborating and clearly communicate with project team members. Assisting in the creation and administration project documents including timelines, status reports, recaps, etc., to accurately track deliverables and manage project status. Assisting management and prioritization of multiple deadlines simultaneously. Assisting in the project intake and evaluation process. Demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
