The newly established Armache laboratory at Penn State University is looking for Postdoctoral Scholars to join. The lab is using cryo-EM to investigate chromatin-associated complexes and is also interested in membrane protein research as well as new technology developments. These fully funded positions seek motivated candidates with a strong track record of accomplishments in biochemistry. Experience with protein expression and purification is required. Strong interest in structural studies and willingness to learn cryo-EM is a prerequisite. The Armache laboratory is a member of the Penn State Center for Eukaryotic Gene Regulation, as well as the Huck Institutes of Life Sciences. Penn State offers state-of-the-art cryo-EM facilities including Titan Krios with Gatan K2/FEI Falcon 3EC direct detectors and Volta phase plate and a Talos Arctica. Ph.D. recipients with a track record of accomplishment in biochemistry or biophysics are encouraged to apply.
