Description

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for one or more non tenure-track lecturer positions. Duties will include teaching, advising students, committee duties and helping to assess learning gains in courses. Previous teaching experience and fit to the department’s teaching needs are critical. Preference may be given to candidates who have taught Computer Science and Engineering classes. A Ph.D. is preferred, while a Master’s degree is required, with the degree being earned in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field prior to the start date. Preferred areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, programming in C++, Java and/or MatLab, logic design, and use of standard computing applications such as Access and Excel.
