Description

One to two undergraduate research positions are available to support the NASA-funded ACT-America airborne research project (https://www-air.larc.nasa.gov/missions/ACT-America/index.html). The student researchers will assist with airborne data analyses, including in situ and lidar-based aircraft observations collected during the ACT-America flight campaigns. The positions are available for the entire academic year, starting in fall semester 2019, with the potential for extension into the summer. Students majoring in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science with strong data analysis and programming skills and interest in gaining experience with scientific research are encouraged to apply.
