Description

The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology is seeking candidates for a research assistant to work on a clinical trial for subjects with Type 2 Diabetes. This is a 24-hour per week grant-funded position starting in October 2019, and running until the end of December 2024. Flexible work hours needed between 8am-5pm. The primary responsibilities of the position are: recruit, screen, schedule and conduct study visits under the supervision of the Project Manager. Other duties include maintain subject database, monitor incoming data for accuracy, code and score observational data, conduct data collection and monitor the safety and confidentiality of the project and its subjects. Applicants should have some human subject research experience, work well independently and as a member of a team, have strong communication skills, be conscientious, detail oriented, and have good organizational and time management skills.
