Penn State Harrisburg is accepting applications for an Academic Success Coach with the Russell E. Horn Sr. Learning Center. The Academic Success Coach will support individual students in developing self-regulation, learning skills, presentation skills, and other strategies that contribute to academic success. Tutees will be both undergraduate and graduate students. This position will also assist the Director of Academic Support and Advising Services with supporting undergraduate students with developing academic recovery plans and supporting students who are returning to the University after an academic suspension. Additional responsibilities include supporting academic programming such as New Student Orientation, the First-year seminar co-curricular programs, and other programs designed to support students with their academic transition to the campus. A Bachelor's degree is required. Additional graduate credentials and experience in higher education (tutoring, teaching, or advising) is preferred. This position is a part-time academic year position for an average of 15–24 hours per week and begins this fall semester. It will remain open until filled.
