Description

The School of Music in the College of Arts and Architecture is looking for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach studio piano to undergraduate and graduate piano majors; teach undergraduate and graduate piano literature courses; supervise student recitals and monographs; perform as a soloist and chamber musician with colleagues; and participate in the academic life of the School of Music. It is expected that the successful candidate will maintain an active and highly visible regional, national, and international performance and outreach (i.e. master-class/workshop/adjudication) schedule that will recruit excellent pianists to the school. A doctorate in Music is required; Professional performance experience in solo and collaborative endeavors, and two years of successful college-level teaching experience preferred. Start Date: Fall semester, August 2020.
