Description

The Extreme Computing and Platforms Department in the Autonomous and Intelligent Systems Division (AIS) of the Communications, Information and Navigation Office (CINO) within the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Programmer/Analyst who desires to work in a growing area encompassing a variety of research and technology disciplines. AIS supports a number of research areas and programs in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and Test and Evaluation that provide a unique opportunity for the applicant. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance or Computer Science is preferred. Knowledge of Python and software application programming is required. Additional experience in Cybersecurity Tools, Test and Evaluation, and Data Analytics is desired. Applicants must possess good communication and writing skills. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Employment with the ARL will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. This is a one-year, fixed-term renewable appointment.
