The Office of Student Disability Resources is looking for a part-time undergraduate student who can help out one of our graduate students with data entry and organization. The successful candidate`s responsibilities include organizing collected data, transcribing videos, taking notes on some of the videotaped interactions, and maintaining accurate records of qualitative data. The person will closely work with the doctoral student who needs assistance and his research team throughout Fall 2019 semester. The candidate will be trained by the doctoral student and his faculty advisor. Job duties will take approximately 10-15 hours a week beginning in early-September and ending by early-December. Prior experience analyzing qualitative data is not required but will be considered a plus. Time management and organization skills are a must. The successful applicant will have to complete human subjects training before they can commence job duties, though the position will pay for up to 2 hrs of training time. In addition to your resume, please attach a cover letter that includes a description of your prior research experience and job experience. Previous experience as a data entry clerk or similar position would be considered an advantage. Strong organizational skills are required. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
