Penn State Student Affairs Research and Assessment (SARA) is seeking to hire a Data Analysis Intern. Student Affairs Research and Assessment assists with measuring the effectiveness of strategic initiatives within Student Affairs. This position will report directly to the data analyst overseeing Career Services assessment. Responsibilities will include managing and updating online surveys in Qualtrics, preparing survey links, updating and managing distribution lists, assisting with design of assessment projects, assisting with implementation of data collection processes, cleaning/managing data files and conducting descriptive statistical analyses, proofreading reports and online dashboards for statistical errors and inconsistencies, and meeting with Career Services colleagues. Other work may include qualitative assessment efforts (focus groups, interviews) and serving on appropriate committees. Typically requires a bachelor`s degree or higher. Must have effective oral and written communication, as well as attention to detail. Experience with Qualtrics, SPSS, Excel, and Outlook preferred. This is a paid internship at $10.00 - $15.00 per hour with approximately 15 - 30 hours per week. Pay is commensurate with experience. Preference will be given to candidates who would be available for the full 2019-20 academic year. You do not need to be a Penn State student to apply.
