Description

The Larry and Ellen Foster Librarian for Communications is seeking a part-time assistant to oversee the creation and maintenance of online Subject Guides and Course Guides in the areas of journalism, media studies, advertising, public relations, film, and telecommunications, as well as continually reviewing existing guides for new resources to add or broken links. Duties may also include some research project work, and assisting in the Global News Center. Applicants should demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience creating web pages or using Springshare`s LibGuides platform is preferable, but not required. Hours can be flexible, but applicants must be willing to work a minimum of 12 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. To apply, please complete the online application and upload a cover letter and resume.
