Description

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a division I and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking an Assistant Ticket Manager. The position will report to the Athletics Ticket Manager. Primary responsibilities include: Manage all aspects of ticket operations for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, including event creation, creating price codes, ticket renewals and invoicing, generating ticket print files and seat relocations; Develop and maintain ticket manifest for all athletic events at Bryce Jordan Center; Manage all aspects of ticket operations for on-campus post season championship events; Build and manage parking events and inventory in Archtics; Develop pricing models to maximize revenue generation; Hire and supervise part-time staff for multiple sports and venues; Coordinate the creation of events and event on-sales with Ticketmaster; Support digital ticketing initiatives; Provide assistance in ticket operations functions for several sports, including but not limited to: Football, Basketball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, and Softball. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Archtics ticketing system is strongly preferred. Required experience includes digital ticketing and Ticketmaster products (Account Manager, Presence, Virtual Venue) a plus; excellent customer service and problem-solving skills; Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills; professional, effective communication with internal and external departments impacted by ticketing; team player with a positive attitude, professionalism and strong work ethic; ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year with excellent possibility of re-funding.
