Description

The School of Engineering Design, Technology, and Professional Programs (SEDTAPP) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our undergraduate programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to managing and maintaining confidential student records, reviewing transcripts and degree audits, processing student petitions and updating degree audits. Serve as point of contact for undergraduate students and faculty for questions, scheduling and registration, and other academic functions. Compile academic reports to collect and analyze data. Schedule and maintain faculty peer reviews, Student Rating of Teaching Effectiveness (SRTE), and course syllabi. Work with other student support team members on tracking non-matriculated students as part of micro-credentials and other non-course base offerings. Assist in coordinating SEDTAPP student awards. Schedule and coordinate multiple student events per semester, including two Engineering Technology and Commonwealth Engineering (ETCE) program faculty meetings/conferences held at University Park campus every year. Coordinate and track student group travel for embedded courses; assist with the processing of travel reimbursements. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with Penn State systems and an understanding of policies and procedures is preferred.
