Description

This position will assist a Family and Community Medicine faculty member with all aspects of internally and externally funded research in health equity, rural health, and behavioral cancer prevention. Responsibilities will include developing Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications; patient recruitment and interaction; data collection and analysis; grant and manuscript writing; management of study procedures; and overseeing student team members. This position will also be involved with long-term planning for research and public health interventions; collaborating with diverse stakeholders; and disseminating research findings through manuscripts and presentations to the scientific and lay communities. A strong background in conducting human subjects research is preferred. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of refunding.
