Description

Peer mentors for PSU 1 have the exciting opportunity to help first-semester students acclimate to life in college. As a peer mentor you would assist the class instructor by working together during class sessions, helping with class planning, or reviewing assignments. Pay is $9.50 per hour for 1.5 hours per week. Additionally, you will receive 1 credit as part of enrollment in CNED 200. CNED 200 is an online course providing training and giving you a chance to learn from and share questions with other peer mentors. Your total expected time commitment for working with the PSU instructor and participating in CNED 200 is approximately three hours per week. There are two mandatory meetings, held on August 19 and 20, giving you preliminary training and an orientation to the course, as well as the chance to meet and work with your PSU 1 class instructor.
