The University Faculty Senate is seeking a Records Specialist 4 with strong customer service, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the flexibility needed to solve problems in a changing environment. The Faculty Senate values diversity, inclusion, and equity in all its activities across the University. The successful candidate will report to the Senate Curriculum Coordinator and acts as an administrator for the University Curriculum system, as well as the point of contact for curricular policy information. Primary responsibilities for this position include: Receiving, reviewing, and processing all course proposals and preparing and sending correspondence to Dean’s offices and departmental representatives; Preparing the Senate Curriculum Report for review and publishing; Attending meetings of the Senate Committee on Curricular Affairs (SCCA) and supporting the SCCA subcommittees; Maintaining course information in LionPATH (OraclePeopleSoft’s Campus Solutions); Maintaining the record system of approved undergraduate and graduate course curricular adds, changes and drops; Gathering and compiling information for use in periodic reports and projects and overseeing the quality and accuracy of the University Course Catalog. The successful candidate will support the University Faculty Senate meetings and may represent the Senate on Committees related to curriculum. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with curriculum and LionPATH is strongly preferred. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and exhibit a high degree of professionalism and initiative. The successful candidate must also be willing to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent computer skills, including the effective use of the Microsoft Office Suite are required. The ability to learn and adapt to new software programs is essential. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
