Utilization of these facilities ranges from standard office spaces to advanced, custom research laboratories. This is a supervisory position with responsibility for hiring, managing, and evaluation of assigned technical-service employees. This includes the development of work schedules and oversight of prioritized assignments. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with construction projects/estimation, facilities maintenance, access control procedures, physical security, inventory management, and occupational safety is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are also preferred, as is the ability to work well both independently and within various teams.
