The Alle-Kiski Best Practices Collaborative Community Robotics, Education, and Technology Empowerment (ABC CREATE) Resource Management Intern will work to support ABC CREATE, a STE(A)M education project engaging 14 local school districts. Tasks will include but not be limited to the following: Assist with preparing, maintaining, and lending of education technologies to local teachers participating in ABC CREATE; Correspond directly with lenders to assure prompt and efficient use of materials; Maintain ABC CREATE resource library; Assist with promoting ABC CREATE and related opportunities to community, school districts through websites, social media, and prepared documents; and assist with ABC CREATE training, conferences, and other events and opportunities. Requirements: Able to work independently with minimal supervision; Able to demonstrate skills in writing, troubleshooting, problem-solving; Able to package and move resource materials; Must be enrolled at least part-time at Penn State New Kensington; Able to communicate effectively through email, phone, and in person; Able to learn to use creative technologies well enough to assure proper functioning.
