Description

The Earth and Mineral Sciences Library seeks an upper division undergrad or grad, preferably in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS), who is interested in a paid internship digitizing and georeferencing a significant collection of geoscience field notes created by a retired Geosciences professor. Fall/Spring employment is available, and the selected candidate will work fifteen hours per week. Under the direction of the EMS librarians, you will digitize field notes, scanning maps and ultimately creating an ArcGIS map georeferencing the field locations and linking to the relevant field notes.
