Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining all Micros system items currently available in on-campus convenience stores at University Park and the Commonwealth Campuses. This will include updating databases such as new items, sale items, price changes, and item descriptions. A large part of the position will be conducting meetings and trainings, as well as developing marketing and training for Micros end users. Additionally, the successful candidates will review and analyze Micros sales reports and communicate information to the dining units. Other responsibilities include assisting with categorizing and naming items in FoodPro, ensuring there are accurate FoodPro numbers in inventory, assisting with organizing unit inventory books, performing routine support and troubleshooting Micros software, and creating and refining Micros documentation as needed. The successful candidate will collaborate with other Housing and Food Service groups like purchasing and the warehouse. Additionally, this person will provide support to the Senior Assistant Director of Operations with planning and organizing monthly retail meetings and events as needed.This position works a variety of shifts and hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Micros Symphony 2 software, and FoodPro software. Additionally, some travel may be required.
