Description

University Health Services Pharmacy, a department within Student Affairs, is seeking a customer-centric team member who can bring passion and energy into providing an exceptional experience to our customers. The daily responsibilities of the qualified candidate will include genuinely greeting customers, locating prescriptions, submitting prescription refill requests, gathering personal information, and completing transactions of multiple tender options utilizing a point of sale system along with pharmacy software. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Problem resolution skills are desired with the focus on establishing a positive customer rapport. The qualified individual must display the ability to work with a team and communicate constructively with customers, peers, and leaders. This position will be scheduled Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. with a rotation of Saturdays during the spring and fall semesters. This is a 75% full-time equivalency (FTE) position. Months off are Mid-May to Mid-August. Full Penn State benefits are included.
