The Department of Statistics, at The Pennsylvania State University, invites applications for an Assistant Research Professor position. The successful candidate will have expertise and experience in applying and developing new statistical methodology to solve challenging problems in the health sciences. The chosen candidate will teach and conduct research in statistics at Penn State in the Eberly College of Science and collaborate with scientists in the Department of Nutritional Sciences in the College of Health and Human Development (HHD). The Eberly College of Science takes an active role in building a talented and inclusive workforce. Qualified candidate should possess a Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or other related fields at the time of hire.
