Applications are invited for two Postdoctoral scientist positions in the field of atomistic-scale simulations in the van Duin-group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. We are looking for talented, ambitious, and hard-working candidates. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related fields; strong prior experience in atomistic-scale simulation methods – in particular ReaxFF reactive force fields, non-reactive force fields and/or Density Functional Theory methods - is required, experience with force field development is a major asset. We also look for good communication skills; ability to work both independently and in a team environment; proficiency with Fortran, C, C++, JAVA, Python or other relevant coding methods.
