Description

The Visualization and Decision Support Division of the Applied Research Laboratory is seeking a Graduate Assistant to conduct research and development in visual analytics. Students studying Information Systems Technology (IST), Computer Science, Data Science or related fields are encouraged to apply. The near-term focus is on advanced data visualization, data science, data triage, and analytical tools to support end users in the analysis and exploration of massive data sets. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week over the summer. Successful candidates typically have an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or above during their junior and senior years. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
