Penn State Scranton has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff a variety of courses during the 2019-2020 academic year. Part-time faculty are commonly sought for the following disciplines: accounting, art, art history, astronomy, business administration, biology, chemistry, computer science, communications, criminal justice, economics, English, engineering, foreign languages, human development and family studies, history, information science and technology, kinesiology, mathematics, meteorology, management, marketing, nursing, nutrition, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, religious studies, sociology, statistics, supply chain management, theater, and women’s studies. The ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Requirements include the minimum of an earned Master’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.
