Description

The Department of Learning and Performance Systems at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) seeks part-time Instructors through Summer 2020 to teach courses in its online class in Learning, Design, and Technology (LDT). Candidates should have a strong background and demonstrated evidence of teaching in online environments; familiarity with Canvas, Course Management System (CMS); and knowledge of mobile technologies as learning tools. A graduate degree related to Educational Technology or Learning, Design, and Technology as well as prior teaching experience and facility with instructional design is required. The successful candidates will be primarily responsible for teaching an online course which will involve monitoring and leading students’ online discussions, responding to student requests, and grading and adjusting pedagogical design to suit the students’ needs. The candidates will collaborate with faculty members in the LDT program.
