The Penn State Smeal Professional Graduate Programs office seeks candidates for the role of Admissions and Program Coordinator. This role will manage admissions operations for all resident professional graduate programs including the Executive MBA, Resident MBA, and multiple one-year Master programs. Operations duties include answering prospective student questions via email, phone, and in person; tracking and reporting applications; interview scheduling; decisions communication; event support; following up on program information and interest requests by prospective students; and managing admissions data and processes. Occasional weekend travel to Philadelphia to support the Executive MBA program as well as occasional evening work to support on-campus recruiting events will be required. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Necessary competencies include excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills, with a strong desire to help prospective students through the application process and discuss program options. Requires working independently and collaboratively, and strong time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Penn State systems (GRADS, LionPATH) and of is beneficial, as well as ability to learn new external systems. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
