Description

The Worklion Management Office (WMO), responsible for ongoing support and development of the Workday Human Capital Management and Payroll system, is seeking Business Process Analysts (BPAs) who will work with stakeholders including end-users, business analysts, subject matter experts, vendors and HR Shared Services to support the ongoing functions of Workday and the operation of the Worklion Management Office. The BPAs will sustain a detailed understanding of Workday for a designated area(s) and will be primarily responsible for tier 2 support which includes completing day-to-day operational tasks, providing prompt customer service to user inquiries, identifying trends that will improve transactional efficiency, supporting payroll processing, completing data analysis, and providing training. The BPA will also work with Business Analysts and users to test, identify defects, and ensure proper operation of Workday configuration. Candidates must have strong specialized/analytical ability and be able to use excel to compile and analyze data from several sources. Must also have the ability to present data to support decision making efforts. BPAs will support one or more of the five functional areas. The preferred candidate will have experience working in one or more of the functional area as described in the following: Human Capital Management (HCM): Experience in at least one of the following areas of Human Resources - compensation, job classification, position management, academics, onboarding, worker data (such as service dates, bargaining unit, personal data, supervisory organizations), talent management, or recruitment. Employee Benefits: Experience working with employer-sponsored benefit plans (health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, etc.), vendor integration files, and benefit deductions that impact employee pay. Absence: Experience working with time off (vacation, sick days) and leave of absences (FMLA, paid leaves, unpaid leaves, and workers' compensation). Understanding various types of employee’s time tracking and time off requirements. Familiarity with absence language in law and policy. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Key competencies for success in this position include the ability to thrive in a team-based environment and understand the interdependencies of the functional areas and the stakeholders. Additionally, understanding and performing elements of standard project management methodology is strongly desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholder groups. The ability to accurately collect information in order to understand, assess, and analyze/diagnose problems and support improvements. Successful candidates will be detail oriented and be comfortable working in a collaborative and diverse environment. Previous Workday experience is preferred but not required.
