The Cloud Engineering Team in Infrastructure, a division of Enterprise IT, is looking for a highly motivated and specialized strong System Administrator with passion for providing professional customer service and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work as a member of our cloud engineering team and support our enterprise cloud infrastructure. General responsibilities include the building, ensuring proper operation, configuring and administration of cloud environments and cloud-native solutions, software and tools, the continual improvement of existing solutions, and the identification and automation of routine repetitive tasks. This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. The required knowledge, skills and behaviors for this position include collaboration, strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience developing strong documentation and knowledge. The successful candidate is also proactive in providing superior customer service to groups that depend on the cloud infrastructure. Candidates should have experience working with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Google Cloud Platform. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding.
