Description

This position will review and process grants and amendments from various federal agencies for adherence to government and Penn State policy, as well as reviewing and processing gifts, unrestricted grants, field trial grants, and other funding instruments from various agencies and organizations. Other responsibilities may include assistance with reporting and non-financial compliance. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful graduation of the ACES program preferred or must be completed within the first several years of employment. Experience with Strategic Information Management System (SIMS) is preferred. This job will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail. This is a Fixed-Term positions, funded for one year from date of hire, with excellent possibility of re-funding.
