Description

The Broach lab seeks applicants for a postdoctoral scholar to conduct research in the molecular genetics of disease onset and progression, through the application of genetic, molecular genetic and genomic tools, focusing on patient samples acquired from the Institute for Personalized Medicine. The successful candidate will work to design and perform experiments, which will involve genomic sequencing and data analysis. Basic molecular biology methods and computer literacy are essential. The candidate should have a PhD in Molecular Biology or equivalent field plus several years of related experience. The candidate will be expected to conduct independent research in the area of cancer genomics and should have excellent organization skills, mastery of the relevant scientific literature and the ability to design and execute experiments on his or her own.
