Serve as primary grant pre and post award liaison with Penn State Extension educators and faculty serving as principle investigators (PIs) and the College Office of Grants and Contracts. Provide financial expertise and coordination of all aspects of post-award administration. Work with Business Operations Managers in management of extension assistance accounts to include budget management, cost center accounting, financial reporting and problem resolution. Work with Assistant Directors of Extension Programs in management of their general, ag federal and restricted extension program accounts. Coordinate budget management, financial reporting, cost center accounting and problem resolution needs of their units. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of training and orientation for county-based bookkeeping staff, ADP unit assistants, and Extension Business Office financial assistants. Serve as senior member of EBO to lend expertise in the development of processes, policies and procedures associated with Penn State Extension financial operations. Explain, interpret and enforce University financial policies and procedures. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and demonstrated commitment to customer service. Proficiency in IBIS, ERS, eBuy, iTwo, MSExcel and University policies and procedures are preferred.
