Description

Penn State Abington’s Science and Engineering Division seeks a math instructor (non-tenure track) for a six week summer appointment to begin June 24, 2019. The successful candidate will teach preparatory math review courses at the introductory for students headed for engineering majors at Penn State. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in summer preparatory bridge math programs and demonstrated excellence in teaching introductory math at the college level. The ideal instructor will be expected to collaborate with the physics and chemistry instructors to create a blended curriculum. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Penn State Abington is a four-year undergraduate college of Penn State University located two blocks from Route 611 in Abington, Pennsylvania, and 10 miles north of Center City Philadelphia.
