The Department of Comparative Medicine is recruiting an Administrative Support Coordinator. The person in this position will provide academic and administrative support, serving as the assistant to the Chair of the department. The scope of duties includes financial and managerial accounting; research and development accounting; faculty and staff support; data collection and report writing; and specifically administrative support of research, human resources, and the Laboratory Animal Medicine training program in Comparative Medicine. The Assistant also will schedule appointments, prepare itineraries, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare and/or approve all ERS, IBIS, and Workday documents for processing. The candidate must have executive office experience, demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, and enthusiastically participate in a team approach. The job will be filled depending upon the successful candidate’s competencies and experience. This is a standing full time position in the office of Comparative Medicine. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
