The Co-Curricular Program Coordinator designs, implements, delivers, and evaluates social, educational, and service-learning programs for World Campus students. The program coordinator would be responsible for leading efforts to engage students in meaningful and intentional co-curricular learning experiences; advising, supporting and providing developmental opportunities for student clubs and organizations to support and advance their missions, further developing student leadership opportunities for World Campus Students and seeking advances in engage scholarship with academic partners. This position encompasses a wide variety of duties that include: Coordinate programs and services which engage students in meaningful and intentional experiences related to service and leadership; Advise, support and provide developmental opportunities for student clubs and advisory boards; Provide fiscal management of budgets for student engagement activities, leadership development programs and student organizations funds and funding requests; Fiscal management of student organizations, including responsible for the bookkeeping/fiscal accounts/paperwork, etc. for student organizations; Supervise and mentor GA’s; Represent of World Campus Student Affairs on various department, university and commonwealth committees; Professional development. This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Experience in student clubs and organizations and student leaders is required along with ability to use advance technologies, work with diverse populations, and the ability to collaborate across administrative structures. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with an excellent possibility of re-funding.
