Description

The Antennas and Electromagnetics Department of the Applied Research Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated graduate student to perform work related to quantum remote sensing. The successful candidate will conduct quantum optics experiments to probe the concept of using correlations from entangled states as a means of detecting a standoff target of interest. Students with a background in Physics and Electrical Engineering are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week over the summer. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
