Description

The Center for the Agricultural Sciences and a Sustainable Environment at Penn State Berks is seeking a motivated individual for the plant and soil ecology area, to assist with the maintenance of the turfgrass areas, and to support teaching, research, and outreach. Tasks include, but not limited to: mowing, fertilizing, aeration and cultivation, maintaining the turf equipment, watering and also repairing and maintaining the irrigation system, weeding, maintaining inventory, general turf establishment and maintenance operations, and general landscape duties. Previous experiences in relevant fields is welcomed. This position is currently part-time with up to 20 hours per week. The work is primarily outdoors with some computer-based and indoor projects.
