The Larson Transportation Institute is seeking an Education Program Assistant who is highly organized and detail oriented. This position will report directly to the Administrative Manager and provide support for educational programs within the regional University Transportation Center (UTC), as well as other educational programs undertaken by faculty affiliated with the Institute. Duties will include, but not be limited to project tracking and form development, maintaining a database with project information, and assistance with conference planning. In addition to the UTC-related activities, the individual will also provide support to other LTI-related conference events and outings by developing program materials and other documentation associated with coordinating events. The position will also assist in providing support for daily administrative duties such as phone coverage, processing travel requests and reconciliations, and other duties as assigned. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong Microsoft Office knowledge is preferred. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding. This is a 75% full-time equivalency (FTE) job. Will work 30 hours per week.
