Description

Educational Psychology, Counseling and Special Education (EPCSE) is seeking an innovative, knowledgeable, and collaborative Administrative Support Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of one or more graduate programs within the department; assisting students and faculty with a wide variety of activities. This position will assist the Office Coordinator by taking a prominent role in building access, facilities, Herr Clinic technology/scheduling, and course scheduling, which includes activities such as coordinating projects/renovation requests, coordinating office/furniture moves, researching facility needs/budget, scheduling/tracking multiple programs semester courses, collecting and scheduling final exams, assigning & tracking EPCSE keys and key card access. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with GRADS, Oracle, WorkDay, and other PSU systems is preferred but not required. The ability to work fluidly with a team, excellent communication, and a positive attitude are essential. Candidate must demonstrate professionalism with a high commitment to customer service; interpersonal/communication skills, organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage and prioritize tasks with minimal direction; and exercise discretion and judgement while managing confidential information.
