Description

The Office of Physical Plant is seeking a Facilities Reliability Maintenance Planner to be a part of planning and scheduling the maintenance of Life Safety and Fire Protection Systems (to include, but are not limited to Smoke Evacuation, Stair Pressurization, and Vesda). The selected candidate will be responsible for planning preventive, and predictive maintenance work orders using Maximo as the work and asset management system. The Reliability Maintenance Planner performs initial asset screening, analyzes job requirements, conducts asset research and builds detailed job plans. They will be required to: Select and describe the most efficient and optimal way to perform the maintenance work order. Assemble planned job packages containing detailed work order(s), job plan detail by task, labor deployment plan by craft and skill, and bill of material and acquisition plan. Coordinate parts or service procurement. Provide prints, sketches, photos, special procedures, specifications, sizes, tolerances, and other technical references that the assigned crew may have need for when completing to work order. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Thirty (30) hour OSHA certification preferred. Strong computer skills are essential. Prior experience with a CMMS is preferred. Excellent communication and collaborative work skills required. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job responsibilities. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background check.
