Penn State World Campus is seeking a creative, analytical, and web-savvy individual with marketing and digital experience to join its cross-functional Brand Experience team. This position is responsible for working with a team to review, monitor, and test web-related content for multiple prospect and student facing websites. The ideal candidate will have an interest in implementing carefully planned web strategies, impressive written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, knowledge to maintain brand consistency, and the ability to develop, improve, and implement best practices and procedures. They should feel comfortable developing their responsibility as a super editor in Drupal and WordPress content management systems. Although this position is part of a collaborative team, the ideal candidate should be prepared to use critical thinking to establish priorities and complete daily tasks and large projects on schedule. Primary responsibilities include assisting with workflow on the Penn State World Campus websites and working with internal partners to align all digital, email, and print marketing with our brand and content strategy. This team member will be part of a small team of liaisons for all web content optimization and will work closely with other marketing partners, project managers, stakeholders, and developers to ensure that content is optimized to achieve business goals and meet KPIs. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Writing experience and working knowledge of HTML and Drupal front-end management is a plus. Requires good relationship building in order to foster collaboration and coordination among assigned partners, internal stakeholders, and other marketing team members. We seek candidates who are able to demonstrate experience and ability to advance Outreach's diversity initiative. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
