The School of Labor and Employment Relations at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park Campus, invites applications for part-time Online Instructors to begin the Spring semester of 2020 in the following areas: Human Resource Management; Labor and Employment Relations; Labor Law; Diversity; Ethics; Compensation and Benefits; Workplace Health and Safety. We are particularly interested in applicants who might be capable of teaching, “Work and Literature,” “Comparative Employment Relations Systems,” and “International Labor Law.” Successful applicants will teach courses in our online Master of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations (MPS in HRER) graduate program and Labor and Employment Relations (LER) undergraduate program. A Master’s degree in a related field is required. Candidates with Ph.D. or J.D. degrees are preferred. Ideal candidates will have both teaching (preferably online) and substantial professional experience. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time lecturers normally teach one to two courses per semester. Successful applicants may live and work remotely.
