Responsible to the Senior Director for the oversight of the Residence Life budget which encompasses the eleven residential campuses. The Financial Manager projects, develops, and monitors the annual budget for the unit, along with a reserve budget. Works closely with the financial aid office on distributions of grant-in-aid packages; supervises reconciliation of all income and expenses, which includes overseeing the ERS and purchasing card transactions for all campuses. Responsible for training staff on all fiscal policies and accounting activities. Monitor salaries and wages at all campuses. Conduct fiscal audits at the ten residential Commonwealth Campuses as needed. Oversee all purchasing and receiving, as well as serves as contact for external vendors and University partners on renovation projects. Work closely with Auxiliary and Business Services in planning yearly projections. Prepare monthly reports, spending plans, and the annual budget presentation for the Senior Director and Assistant Vice President. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
